An aspiring writer residing in Brooklyn, New York, Christopher Engelhardt has been writing about movies since the age of 19. His first reviews were published in the Mountimes, the student newspaper of the College of Mount Saint Vincent, located in the Bronx, where he attended college as an undergraduate student. He wrote reviews for three years, and served as Editor-In-Chief for his final two, until he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with concentrations in both journalism and film. He also received a minor in writing. He is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association Honor Society, and received departmental medals for both communication and writing.

Christopher has also been published in the Riverdale Review, a local newspaper company in the Bronx. There, he interned as a contributing reporter/writer, and wrote articles focusing on education and politics. He also interned and served as a film/script analyst at City Lights Media Group, an entertainment company which focuses in film, TV and digital media. There, he reviewed films and scripts being considered for acquisition, development, distribution and/or production by the company.

Christopher is currently a reporter at the Long Beach Herald, where he focuses on community journalism, including community happenings, education, and politics, while also writing occassional featue stories.
